Recently we have discovered a wonderful new
craft called
Pixelhobby.
We can convert most of our cross stitch patterns easily over to Pixelhobby
format, best of all it takes you much less time to complete
Pixelhobby
than cross stitch and there is no counting, or threading needles involved.
We are the exclusive
distributor for the
Pixelhobby
product line in Australia. However we sell our kits to customers all around
the world.
If you see a pattern on our Artecy website you would like converted to a
Pixelhobby
kit or if you want a different size kit for a design we offer, let us know
and we will do our best to get it for you.
For ages 8 and up, you can do
this craft easily together as a family or by yourself. You can finish a
design in days or weeks and they are turning out beautifully. It is
basically like doing Ministeck however using only one pixel, so you get a
really detailed finish.
You have clear baseplates
which you lay over a pattern and you can see the pattern through it and
using tweezers you take coloured pixels and place them onto the baseplate
to complete a mosaic masterpiece. You can choose any of the kits we offer
or there is also free software you can download to create your own
patterns from your favourite images and then you can order the supplies
needed to complete your design. Below are some images to show you what it
