As the owner and designer for this company I started it for two reasons, firstly to be able to work from home whilst taking care of our children at home when they were young and secondly to provide cross stitch patterns which are different, realistic, modern and unique, as so many of the patterns I have seen do not appeal to my taste, or would not suit my home, or just don't have that personal touch.

Alot of people ask where does the name Artecy come from. Well it is a word that comes out when you say my eldest sons initials RTC. I started the business when he was just a few months old.

I work very long hours to bring these patterns to you and I am very grateful for the wonderful emails I receive every day, it is nice to know my hard work and patterns are appreciated so much.
